Dekyi Lee's Biography

Dekyi Lee OldershawDekyi-Lee Oldershaw has been presenting experiential courses about the power of the mind for 20 years. Her simple, yet powerful methods for dealing with challenging situations and the underlying causes of illness have been used for discussion and research by professionals in cardiac rehab, oncology, palliative care and management of chronic pain in Australia, UK,Canada and now Italy and Malaysia. She has trained and certified facilitators worldwide who are using her methods in social services, health, education and the arts.

In 2004, with colleagues, she launched www.LampOnThePath.org, a trans formative self-healing website and community that offers free healing exercises, training and support.

Dekyi-Lee was a faculty member of the Findhorn Foundation in Northern Scotland for seven years. She was a Tibetan Buddhist nun for 7 years, studying with teachers such as The Dalai Lama and Lama Zopa Rinpoche as well as with medical doctors who use complementary methods. She contributed a chapter to 'The Medical Marriage' a book for medical professionals about integrating complementary and orthodox medicine.
She has been counseling and mentoring others through times of transition and spiritual discovery.
