TMM2 Level 2: Deepening Transformative Mindfulness Methods Self-Practice for Inquiry and Intervention

Registration is closed for this event

The Inter-professional Applied Mindfulness Certificate Program, Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work, University of Toronto is pleased to collaborate with Transformative Mindfulness International to bring its methods to on-campus sites and to make it accessible through distance learning. To check out the full continued education curriculum, you can go here.

This international distance learning module via telephone or Skype will help those who would like to strengthen their understanding and personal experience of healing. Six tele-sessions provide a personal, private experience including practical explanations, guided exercises, inquiry in supportive small and large group formats, and ten practice sessions at home.

Participants will:
♦ gain confidence to use TMM methods for a variety of subjective approaches to situations and applications
♦ learn more about TMM’s methodological principles, neuroscience and its foundations in Buddhist psychology
♦ experience insight into the mind’s capacity to be free of suffering
♦ network with an international peer support group exploring TMM’s methodological approach

Audio recordings of each session, exercise transcripts, and a practice journal will be provided. A summary of personal reflection will be required upon completion, and a short personal review by phone completes this module.

A Transformative Mindfulness Methods certificate of attendence will be granted, at the successful completion of each TMM level, jointly by Continuing Education, Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work, University of Toronto, and Transformative Mindfulness International.
